Whee! Choon is le tired. Today was a random day.

In other news, I've finally switched to my second disc! After enduring endless amounts of torment going through the rigors of regular play, the Captain America disc retires rather reluctantly. Here be pics.

A random couplet on the underside:

Among clouds, a sculptor, but a thief through glass.
Among shadows, a painter, but deceiver through water.

FYI, it's about light.

The Captain America disc in all its mutilated sadness glory.

Well, anyway, here's my new disc. I'm rather happy with the wording! Kudos to Zhang Kai for giving the Roman numerals idea. (FYI my jersey number's 24, so yeah.)

Muahahaha. Beware the orange disc.

Anyway, Choon had chinese A level orals today. Which actually, to his surprise, failed horribly went quite well! We stoned quite a long while in the random waiting room/classroom, cause I was second last to go.

What started out as Choon being hyper and happy, deteriorated over the course of about an hour and a half to nervousness because of everyone being super excited/emo/jumpy about the exam. Plus Choon wanted badly to go for training, of which he missed 2 hours because of the exam.

Oh well. At least it was over quick when it came down to the actual test. Plus plus the teachers seemed quite satisfied, so I'm gonna be an arrogant $!#@$!@ and say that I'll own this quite optimistic.

Training went quite well when I was there, starting with the cutting/passing drills over 3 different distances ranging from extreme close range to near-hucking range.

[explanative rhetoric]
Oh, for the uninitiated, ignorant infidels people who don't know frisbee terms, a huck refers to a long pass, often not a direct pass, into the endzone for a player to catch for a point. Basically, it's just a speculative noob whack calculated long range pass either to exploit space, or when near range passes are impossible difficult to pull off.
[/explanative rhetoric (yes, I know I'm using the word "rhetoric" wrongly)]

Anyway. As with most times we do passing drills, our aim was to get 20 consecutive backhand and forehand passes/cuts for each seperate distance. And, as with most times we do passing drills, forehand took a #@$%#$%@%#$@%@#%%#$@%@#$ long time. Disc drops came like bad similes in this post, and coupled with the sticky, yellow, semisolid mud/clay, it wasn't enjoyable at all.

We eventually went on to playing a game, and I must say that marking Cat (the J2 captain, who's called Cat because he's from Cat High. Don't ask.) is a major pain in the knees, ankles and general leg area. For one, he doesn't rest. Also, he has this tendency to sprint off. Lastly, he sprints %#$%#@$^@#$ fast. So, yeah.

Ate dinner at S11, took bus back with Zhefei and Nickoo, walked through unlit back alleys to my house (no, I didn't get accosted), went up to my room, opened up the lappy, and here I am.

Bah. Choon is le tired.

The shower beckons. So does the need to wash the mud off my disc.

So here's Choon, signing off. Back to you in the studio. One last pic.
